Welcome to the Members Hub
Our members play a vital role in protecting and improving soil and water, from implementing federal and state programs to developing conservation programs and policies at the local level. It is a complex job, with many moving parts. These on-demand resources are intended to provide our county conservation members the information they need to succeed.
Through our Climate Resilience program we are compiling resources to help our members access information needed to respond to climate change. We will continue to add and develop resources as our program evolves.
Communities rely on county leadership to improve and protect groundwater resources. Here you can find key resources developed by WI Land+Water and statewide partners to help counties integrate groundwater into county planning.
Renewable energy projects are popping up all over rural Wisconsin. We are compiling resources and trainings to help counties understand opportunities, navigate challenges, and ensure you are staying within your authority.
Wisconsin's more than 15,000 lakes are surrounded by thousands of miles of shoreline. Protection and restoration of those shorelines is a conservation priority for many counties.
The Wisconsin Shoreline Stabilization Outreach Project (SSOP) developed Shoreline Stabilization: A Guide for Homeowners and Conservationists as an educational tool for both property owners and conservationists.
Our Food, Land & Water Project invited diverse stakeholders to look beyond the present moment, see the big picture, and think about our shared Wisconsin resources in a more systematic and collaborative way.
Together, we can evolve to create a more equitable sector for all those involved in conservation. We understand that transformation often starts from the ground up, and we want to strengthen our relationships with the diverse communities we serve.
We have curated a selection of resources intended as a starting point to support conservation staff and officials to integrate these concepts into your everyday work.
