The Note - Spring '21

With winter behind us at long last, spring has brought with it the sense of hope and optimism that it always does in these northern latitudes, as the days get longer, the landscape “greens up,” and we stash those heavy coats in the closet. But spring of 2021 feels different, undoubtedly due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that made this past winter darker, longer, and certainly more isolating than any in recent memory.
