About Us: Publications

We're excited to share the summer edition of our newsletter, now called “The Field Note.”  The goal of The Field Note remains the same—to highlight the important conservation work being done by Wisconsin's counties and the staff here at WI Land+Water. The new design and name reflect our boots-on-the-ground, locally led work to protect our state's natural resources. In this issue, you'll find inspiring stories from the field, practical guidance from a range of experts, and a celebration of the partnerships that make conservation happen across the state.

As a year, 2023 mimicked what local conservation work can often look like – some opportunistic victories, but not without a challenge or two along the way. We are proud of the work we did together in 2023 and look forward to what lies ahead.
