We want Wisconsin's youth to feel empowered to advocate for important conservation issues.

We work through our Youth Education Committee to develop and maintain programs that educate and inspire Wisconsin’s youth. Our many programs work to ensure that future generations continue to care for our beautiful state.

Envirothon

Wisconsin Envirothon is our state’s ultimate middle and high school environmental science challenge, where teams of five high school or middle school students participate in the hands-on, outdoor field challenges designed by natural resources professionals and educators

Poster & Speaking Contest

Held each year during our conference, the Poster & Speaking Contests empower students to use their voices and creativity to encourage others to protect our state's natural recourses. Winners will have to the opportunity to advance and represent Wisconsin at national contests.

Youth Conservation Camps

Camps provide positive educational outdoor experiences, foster an appreciation for nature, and introduce a variety of careers in natural resources and conservation. Professionals from various agencies present programs on topics like wildlife, habitat, water quality, fisheries, forestry, orienteering, and canoeing.
