This installment of the NC3 Climate Webinar Series will feature Heidi Roop, Director of the Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership and Assistant Professor of Climate Science at the University of Minnesota. This webinar will summarize some of the key take-aways of the most recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report "Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis". We will explore the broader global picture, discuss the scientific advances made since the 5th Assessment report in 2013, and will explore the regional implications of this report for the United States, with a focus on the Midwest and Northern Great Plains.
