Future of Wisconsin’s Working Lands

The Food, Land & Water Project consists of four workgroups to cover four distinct topics: polluted surface water, groundwater quality, groundwater quantity, and the future of Wisconsin working lands. The Working Lands Workgroup is considering the future of Wisconsin’s working lands, primarily agricultural land. This workgroup is examining key land use trends and conflicts that will affect working lands in the years ahead and will work toward strategic consensus. Four workgroup meetings were held with the ideas, goals, and recommendations presented at the Food, Land & Water Conference.
