The Wisconsin Envirothon, sponsored by WI Land+Water, took place at the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt, WI on Friday, April 11, 2025. The Wisconsin Envirothon brings together middle and high school students for the state’s ultimate environmental science competition.

Teams of four or five students take on hands-on, outdoor field exams thoughtfully designed by natural resources professionals and educators. These innovative challenges allow students to apply their knowledge beyond the classroom.

On a beautiful spring day, the event cycled through four outdoor stations: Aquatic Ecology, Forestry, Soils/Land Use, and Wildlife.

Cedarburg High School took the title of Overall winner in the High School competition and will represent Wisconsin at the National Conservation Foundation-Envirothon taking place from July 20 – 26, 2025 at the Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
