SWCD Conservation Technician

Winona County Soil (MN) and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is accepting applications for this position until 4:00 p.m. September 25, 2023. Under general direction of the District Manager, an employee of this classification possesses or obtains appropriate levels of Job Approval Authority (JAA)* to coordinate and implement soil and water conservation through technical, educational and financial assistance. The employee utilizes survey, design equipment and software to perform engineering functions to collect survey data, prepare designs, inspect material quantities and bid sheets. Ensures that projects are completed according to federal, state, local priorities, laws, ordinances, standards and specifications.
