Burnett County Conservation Technician

Burnett County is looking for the ideal candidate to fill our Conservation Technician position. This position will be handling all the Ag work for the county from the big to the small. Burnett has a number of small scale ag producers/ grazers that will be a priority to assist w/ such things as grazing plans, fencing, etc. as well as assisting in the creation and support of a small scale ag producer group. This position will be responsible for BMP projects w/ assistance from the DATCP engineers.

In addition to the ag projects, this technician will be involved with a variety of other programs such as Non Metallic Mining, Dams, erosion control/shoreline runoff design and installation, educational programs and more.
