Get an earthworm’s view of the field from a soil pit and learn how to assess your own fields’ soil health; participating farmers and crop consultants will also be able to take a free soil-health test / assessment kit back to your farm to measure compaction, infiltration and soil stability. The field day also includes a rain simulator demo & local farmer panel discussions. Registration is open to all with priority given to farms and crop consultants serving the Yellow Moon /Lake Wissota Watersheds.
