This presentation is a retrospective of an ethnographic research career at UW–Madison. As an ethnographer interested in the relationship between law, culture, and society, and oriented by a commitment to doing action, public, and collaborative anthropology, Nesper reviews several projects with the tribes in the state of Wisconsin with environmental dimensions.
