The theme of this year’s conference, AWRA-WI at 50: Honoring Our Past, Shaping our Future, celebrates a major milestone for our organization. They will reflect on our history, recognize individuals who have supported the organization, and discuss the future of water resources in Wisconsin. They have another excellent year of talks and posters from industry professionals, state and federal agencies, educators and students sharing case studies, regional groundwater and surface water trends, water regulations, and cutting-edge research on groundwater and surface water interactions, water quality, impacts from agriculture and urban land uses, and much more. This year’s technical program also has a special focus on water resources of the Milwaukee area, with three sessions organized by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District and the U.S. Geological Survey.
