Understanding the Impacts of Climate Change on Midwest Agriculture and Utilizing Existing Climate Resources
Laurie Nowatzke, coordinator for the USDA Midwest Climate Hub, will share information about climate change in the Midwest and the ways that agriculture is affected. The webinar will also include a discussion of existing resources for understanding climate change, adaptation options, and greenhouse gas mitigation. Finally, Nowatzke will describe projects and programs that currently being developed by the Hub and its regional partners.
WI Land+Water is hosting a series of Climate and Conservation webinars featuring climate experts that will share important climate mitigation and adaptation strategies, tools, and resources to help county conservation staff and board supervisors integrate climate into local programming.
