Water Action Volunteer Training

June 3, 2023

8:30 am – 12:30 pm
Location: Verona, WI

This training is for new volunteer who would like to monitor water quality in our rivers. This training will make you a Water Action Volunteer (WAV) and allow you to monitor baseline water quality for any river in Wisconsin. The WAV program provides scientists and the public with solid scientific data on temperature, flow, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and aquatic organisms. Anyone can become a volunteer, there is no prior education needed. Monitoring is a once a month commitment from May through October. You can register for this training by clicking HERE. Please contact Heather Hasenstein at if you have any questions. We hope you will join us!
