UW–Madison Extension is hosting a free cover crop and forage field day at the Marshfield Agricultural Research Station on May 7 from 10am–12:30pm. Light refreshments will be provided.

This field day is designed for farmers, conservation staff, crop advisers, and agronomist to learn how cover crops can be implemented in Northern Wisconsin. Additionally, attendees will learn how our winter conditions affected the alfalfa crop and options for renovating it.
