This is the second of a three part series on stream assessment and planning. This training will provide the background information needed to complete field assessments as required in Standard 582 Open Channel. Topics covered will include bankfull discharge determination, Rosgen classification, planform assessment, channel evolutionary stage, sediment competency, lateral recession rates, and types of bank failure conditions. This training is a prerequisite for the October 6th Stream Site Assessment Field Day. PDHs will be offered for this training.
