The Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science and USDA Northern Forests Climate Hub are offering an online Adaptation Planning and Practices (APPo) training for forest and natural resource managers in 2023. This opportunity provides hands-on training to consider climate change impacts and identify adaptation actions for a range of natural ecosystems, resource areas, and cultural perspectives.

Participants will receive coaching and feedback while using the online version of the Adaptation Workbook to develop their own real-world climate adaptation project. Each week, participants will join a Monday lecture and a corresponding discussion section organized based on project topic areas.

The training is scheduled to run weekly between March 20, 2022 - May 10, 2022.
