Join Pineview Farm and UW-Madison Division of Extension for a Nitrogen Management Field Day just west of Janesville, WI. Pineview Farm is showcasing the second year of a Nitrogen Optimization Pilot Program field trial studying nitrogen credits from manure application in corn production. The morning program held at the field plot will feature a plot tour led by local Ag Extension Educator, Josh Kamps and a discussion on corn fertilization and hybrid selection led by Dr. Harkirat Kaur. Lunch will be served at Pineview Farm followed by the afternoon program featuring discussions on in-season soil nitrogen availability by Dr. Natasha Rayne and utilizing on-farm data for nitrogen rate decisions by Monica Schauer and Josh Kamps.
