Microirrigation is becoming a popular request from producers who are looking for technical or financial assistance. However, there are many conservation staff in the state that are unfamiliar with the details of the practice. This training Thomas Zimmermann (NRCS) and John Stoltz (Carlton SWCD) will review the practice standard, applicable resource concerns, and the microirrigation planning process. The goal of the training is to prepare staff to communicate effectively with landowners on microirrigation and understand the planning process for the practice.
