Urban forests provide a variety of ecological, economic, and social benefits. These include oxygen production, storm water management, impacts on property value, and aesthetics to name a few. But, just like trees in more rural areas, urban trees can be the target of damaging pests. Management can be critical in protecting urban trees and preserving green areas within suburban communities.
