Identifying and Managing Toxic Plants

November 15, 2022

1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Location: Online

Join EPA for Identifying and Managing Toxic Plants, a free webinar intended for landscape professionals, grounds and park managers, foresters and arborists. This webinar will focus on toxic plants in the carrot family (Apiaceae) – giant hogweed, wild and cow parsnip, poison and spotted water hemlock and how they compare to nontoxic family member, Queen Anne’s lace. Sap from these toxic plants can affect people’s health, as well as harm animals that eat them. Learn where these plants are found and how to identify and manage them. Presenter: Dr. Mark Renz (Univ. of Wisconsin).
