They will begin by looking at maps as a tool for planning your fence outline. They will then look at the variety of fences available to suit the needs of your operation. They will cover poultry netting, 4-5 strand fencing for goats and sheep, 1-2 strand fencing suitable for larger animals, perimeter fencing, subdividing paddocks within your field, 3-D anti deer fencing, grounding, and energizers. They will discuss how to move livestock within fencing and some of the successes and failures they have had at the Midwest Organic Center.
