Early detection is one of the first and most important steps to managing invasive species to help protect our waters in the Northwoods. Join our Woods and Water team on the pontoon on Rest Lake to learn how to survey aquatic invasive species. Participants will learn a protocol they can use to survey their own lake that utilizes visual searching from the boat, rake throws, shoreline meanders, and snorkeling. This program is open to all ability levels that can join us on our pontoon, as we need eyes both from the boat and in the water.
