The nonprofit First Street Foundation has created publicly-accessible information products for the U.S. to quantify and communicate climate risk, built upon open government data from NOAA, USGS, USACE, FEMA, USFS, and other government agencies. The methodology behind the creation of flood and wildfire risk products will be described, as well as the strategies for the communication and use of those information products. Challenges in the creation and application of these information products to address climate risk across the US will also be discussed.
