March 26, 2025

9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Location: Stevens Point, WI

Join Wisconsin Lakes and Rivers for their interactive, in-person workshops taking place the day before their main convention as well as the last day of the convention. You can register for these as an add-on to your Convention registration or as stand-alone workshops. Register as an In-Person Attendee to select the workshop(s) you want to attend, or if you are attending the Convention sessions on Thursday and Friday virtually, you can choose the "Hybrid" registration and come in person for the workshop you are attending.

Note: most workshops limited to 40 participants; please register early to reserve your spot. Agenda subject to change.

In this workshop, participants will learn how to find, shape, and tell stories. We will discuss the five main elements of a story and how to discover them. By learning dynamic storytelling elements, you will gain the tools to pull stories out of everyday life to help you communicate your water projects and research. Participants will learn how to turn an anecdote of something that happened into a story that illuminates a central truth about life.

20% off by January 31st. The last day to register for in-person attendance is March 16 (walk-in registration available if there are still spots open in the workshops)
