Conservation Partnership Training

Join us for an in-person event to learn about partnerships and programs that are integral to successful conservation.
This free training is a great opportunity to meet and learn from state, federal, and nonprofit partners.
By the end of this training, attendees will be able to:
- Assess their role and how they contribute to the broader conservation landscape
- Identify important contacts and resources
- Solve or propose solutions to conservation problems by leveraging partnerships
- Communicate the history and current state of Wisconsin's unique conservation system
- Identify their "next steps" in finding a community
The training will feature:
- a look at WI conservation history
- a broad look at important state and federal partnerships
- a "World Cafe" of conservation programs across the state : time for networking with valuable conservation partners
- small group activities, including case study scenarios of conservation projects
- an opportunity to hear real-project examples of conservation efforts that involved working with partnerships
- and more!
Formal agenda to come - Welcome and Introductions will start promptly at 9:00 AM. The day will conclude by 3:30 PM.
