TEAMS session 1: CNMP Overview, Regulations, and References

September 28, 2023, 9:00-11:00am

Goal: To discuss what a CNMP is, how it is used, who should be involved in the process and what each person’s role is. The communication that is needed between these individuals will also be discussed. The 9 steps of planning will be covered along with regulations and the references that should be used when writing a CNMP.


TEAMS session 2: CNMP SOW – Part 1

October 5, 2023, 9:00-11:00am

Goal: To demonstrate the inventory and analyzing steps of the engineering portion of the CNMP. The first part of the CNMP Statement of Work (SOW) will be reviewed along with discussions on what to inventory, how to analyze the different components of the farmstead and then summarizing the resource concerns. This training will include several of the more commonly used evaluation tools.

TEAMS session 3: CNMP SOW – Part 2

October 12, 2023, 9:00-11:00am

Goal: To give staff a strong understanding of how to formulate & evaluate alternatives as part of the engineering portion of the CNMP. The second part of the CNMP SOW will be reviewed along with discussions on what needs to be included for different alternatives. The documentation that needs to be included for the decision part of the plan will also be presented. The final part of the training will be typical mistakes/omissions that occur when writing a CNMP and how these can be avoided.
