Following the success of a hands-on workshop conducted at the 2025 National Association County Agricultural Agents (NACAA), members from the North Central Climate Collaborative (NC3) will highlight some of the online climate-informed decision support tools available to farmers, ranchers, horticulturalists and those who advise them. Focused topics will highlight some new and recently updated resources, including: Iowa Environmental Mesonet, Climate Ready Midwest and Farm Assessments, NOAA’s Climate-at-a-Glance, and Climate Toolbox. Participants will be invited to explore these online resources as presenters address questions on specific data sources available to certain regions, commodities or production methods. The goal is to inform, educate, and prepare Extension professionals for understanding climate data available in their area to assist their own programming, recommendations and communicating with their clientele.
