Collaborative Action for Lake Michigan Coastal Resilience (CALM) is hosting a field trip to Upper Lake Park and Valley Creek in Port Washington on Tuesday, September 30th from 10am-12pm. The event will be led by Interim Executive Director of Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership Amy Lentz and Port Washington Public Works Director Robert Vanden Noven. Attendees will receive a tour of both sites and learn about how the city is planning to address bluff instability, preserve beach access, and implement a watershed-wide project that reduces flooding.
