2022 Wisconsin Agricultural Outlook Forum

The title of this year’s Forum is “Agriculture, Nitrogen, and Water Quality in Wisconsin” and will start with presentations by UW-Madison and Division of Extension experts on the status of Wisconsin’s farm economy, including the current situation and outlook for dairy, corn and soybeans, livestock and meat, and specialty crops, as well as farm income. The afternoon will
focus on various efforts around the impact of agriculture, and specifically nitrogen, on water quality in Wisconsin. Speakers from UW-Madison and the Division of Extension will provide an overview of current and future work being done on campus. Following them will be a variety of off-campus stakeholders from around the state sharing their efforts and perspectives on improving water quality in Wisconsin. A panel discussion will follow each section allowing for audience Q&A.
